Why we're starting this
Parks stay healthy when the people who use them show up for them. Friends of Allens Lane Park brings neighbors together to care for the park, speak up for it, and make it a good place to spend time.
Care for it
Cleanups, planting days, and upkeep of the playground equipment, courts, and fields that keep the park clean and welcoming.
Gather in it
Community events that give neighbors a reason to meet outdoors, on the fields, on the courts, or around the playground.
Speak up for it
One organized voice when the park, its courts, and its fields need attention from the city and local partners.
Fundraise for improvements
Raise funds together for projects that make the park better, such as new plantings, benches, and repairs to playground equipment, courts, and fields.
First Interest Meeting
Our first gathering is open to everyone. Come say hello and tell us what you'd like to see on the fields, courts, and playground.
